PCSTP
The Professional Certification Scheme for Testing Personnel (PCSTP), developed and operated by Hong Kong Association for Testing, Inspection and Certification Limited (HKTIC) (the most representative industrial association in this area), is a comprehensive scheme which provides certification of individuals seeking to demonstrate their knowledge and/or competence in their field of testing. The personnel certification affirms the knowledge and experience of the practitioners in a particular testing field to their employers, customers and the public at large. Certification under this scheme represents a declaration of an individual’s professional competence and lays a milestone of his achievement. The initial establishment and operation of the Scheme is sponsored by the SME Development Fund (SDF) of the Trade and Industry Department, Hong Kong SAR Government.
